Brooklands Museum in association with The Sunbeam Motorcycle Club, will be paying tribute to the motorcycles, cycles and related machines from pioneer days through the Brooklands era up to 1939, when motorsport ceased at the iconic Surrey venue.
Come and see how motorcycles progressed from simple bicycle-derived machines to the quite sophisticated bikes of the late 1930s. Events and attractions will include The Test Hill Challenge (Weather permitting) 1920/30s style Gymkhana events, Race Starts, Educational Talks and displays. As well as moving demonstrations and static displays of many machines on the Finishing Straight and Paddock.
A warm invitation is extended to anyone with an appropriate machine or indeed
anyone who has an interest in motorcycles of this era. Site entry will available to all pre-1940 motorcycles.
An advanced entry is required for those wishing to take part in the demonstrations and events and are open to Cycles, Tricycles Motorcycles and Cyclecars from the 1800s to 1939. Entries are strictly limited, and the event entry fee will include free entry to the Museum for Rider/Driver plus one, dependant on the age and rarity of the vehicle.
